Whitney

This album was my childhood, and it’s pretty safe to say that it’s been on repeat for the past two weeks. Peace, Love, Whitney (Disney and Wicked).

O guarda- Costas

I have been unable to get Whitney Houston out of my head since she passed. Let me not understate how much of a fan I was/am, I listened to Whitney very often before she died, and of course now she’s all I can seem to listen to. Particularly “Count On Me” . That song has been on a continuous loop in my mind since she passed. I just can’t believe she is gone…but really, I just mourn a woman who gave everything, and was destroyed by the machine that is Hollywood. Granted, she came through it, and I always knew she would…but ultimately, she lost…and that is a heavy price that everyone who loved her is paying for. I choose to remember her how I always did, even when she was alive - as the stunning and ethereal beauty in The Bodyguard and The Preacher’s Wife, and in Waiting To Exhale. I miss you Whitney, and you are forever loved.
